pawl is now released!!!
hey, its may (get it hey- may? ahhh nvm)
today is a great day as i would like to announce to you all that pawl is now officially released and out of early access!
we've had a journey from a very buggy state of mess to something very stable and people love actually using, and i would love to thank everyone who has supported pawl during early access and gave feedback including feature requests!
in fact, let's hear from some of the people who actually used pawl in their day to day to actually focus.
"Very cute. Very feline. 10/10 productivity booster" - angelo
"Its so cute i forgot I am working" - nat
"i have been using pawl since before its release to the public, and i can confidently say that managing time has never been more fun and engaging. it’s almost like having your own pet living in your laptop! it’s worth mentioning that may has been open about its development process, which is why i think it’s worth every buck. with a good app and a seasoned developer pawling my focus, what more could i ask for?" - lee
"I’ve honestly never seen anything like Pawl before. It was SO CUTE and unique that I knew I had to get it! I’m so glad I found this app. It’s super easy to use and I use it whenever I need to focus. As someone with ADHD it makes focusing so much more fun.
I especially love the accessibility. As someone who’s deaf, the heads up when the timer is almost finished is such a thoughtful feature something most focus timers don’t consider. And the little purring sound at the end makes it even more adorable" - Laurate

i am very happy with what we have accomplished for the past month in early access and i hope to help you guys focus more by continuing to improve pawl post release and i am extremely thankful for all the feedback you have given me in driving this from 0 to 1. all these feedback meant a lot to me and also kept me motivated on working to get pawl to this state.
that said, this is not the end for pawl as i plan to continue adding content into it though it might take some time, stuff includes more paws (including dogs), a streak system and even statistics while keeping most of it local to your device. i have published a roadmap if you are interested in seeing the high level view of things.
that said to get a bit of nostalgia, here are some early screenshots of pawl and i hope it gives you guys something funny to look at and understand how far we've come.

that is pretty much all! the app store version is already released which you can view here (thanks for letting me borrow your app store connect account) and you can get pawl directly here.
once again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all!
keep focusing,
may
