should this site have a footer

Stub i haven't finished writing this yet. i publish drafts early as part of WFD 17.

the site doesn't have a footer. the command palette handles navigation, the navbar has everything else. a footer would just repeat links that already exist.

but every time i scroll to the bottom of a post and hit the void, it feels unfinished. like something should be there even if it's just a line and a copyright notice.

arguments against:

• the command palette already covers navigation
• footers on personal sites are usually filler
• less to maintain

arguments for:

• social links somewhere persistent that isn't the navbar
• a place for "built with X" or colophon info
• the bottom of the page just feels empty
