stepping back

my situation changed recently. nothing dramatic, just enough that i need to reprioritize how i spend my time for a while.

the certifications from WFD 15 are on hold. the drafts sitting in the queue are on hold. liquid glass (WFD 20), Driftlet, the eGovPH QR Verifier, all on hold. not permanently, just until things settle.

what stays

three projects stay. when i looked at what to keep running and what could wait, the pattern was clear. the ones i kept are all open source or free public tools. none of them make money. all of them exist because someone needed them and nobody else was building them.

i didn't set out to filter by that. i just asked myself which ones i couldn't justify stopping, and it turned out the answer was always the ones where someone else is on the other end. that's probably what matters most to me when i'm being honest about it.

2LTO clinic directorymaintenanceLTO-accredited medical clinic finder (WFD 28)
3PH NavigatormaintenanceMRT navigation app

corgi

the only project staying in active development. i use Kagi every day and Corgi lets me shape exactly how it looks and works. when you use something daily and you can make it yours, you don't stop because life got busy. this one keeps me sane, honestly.

lto clinic directory and ph navigator

both in maintenance. the clinic directory already works and people rely on it to find accredited clinics. reports come in, i update the data. PH Navigator handles MRT route planning and station info for the Philippines, the stuff that should exist in an official app but doesn't. neither needs heavy development, just upkeep.

what's on hold

everything else. the certification roadmap from WFD 15 being shelved is the one that actually bothers me. CKA was supposed to happen this month, and half-assing a ₱26,000 exam is worse than waiting. i can't give it the time right now. the roadmap doesn't expire.

this site

still active, new WFDs will still go up.
